1981 cold case victim identified in Blount County
The Blount County Sheriff's Office announced that human remains found on April 4, 1981 near East Millers Cove Road have been identified as William Thomas Green of Knoxville. The identification was made using new DNA technology in partnership with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
