Member of Atlanta’s Indigo Girls discloses incurable medical condition
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — One half of Atlanta’s own rock-folk duo The Indigo Girls says she has an incurable medical diagnosis. Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls announced recently on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with two incurable movement disorders—cervical dystonia and an essential tremor—which directly affect her neck muscles and singing voice.

Person shot on MARTA bus near Columbia Drive
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A shooting on a bus at a busy DeKalb County intersection sent one person to the hospital Saturday evening. Officers responded to the intersection of Columbia Drive and Memorial Drive at approximately 7 PM following reports of a person shot on a bus.
