MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Madison Marriott Hotel South on John Nolen Drive has opened as a warming shelter following a power outage in the neighborhood. According to Madison Police, a car hit a power pole around 10:30 p.m. Saturday near W. Lakeside Street and Gilson Street, knocking out power for nearly 500 customers.
