Regions Bank names downtown Mobile arena in 10-year deal
Birmingham-based Regions Bank is the new title sponsor of the $300 million arena in downtown Mobile under a 10-year arrangement whose financial details were not disclosed Tuesday. The announcement was made during an afternoon ceremony outside the venue that remains under construction and is expected to open in January 2027.
OVG lands naming rights deal for under-construction Mobile arena
When the new arena in Mobile, Ala., opens in early 2027, it’ll be called Regions Arena, following a naming rights deal between Oak View Group and Regions Bank. A source familiar with the deal indicated it was a 10-year agreement worth eight figures. OVG’s Global Partnerships group secured the deal on behalf of the city of Mobile, which will own the 10,000-seat, $237M arena.
