One dead, one injured after separate crashes in southwest Omaha intersection
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person is dead and another is injured after two crashes late Tuesday in southwest Omaha. The initial crash happened near 162nd Avenue and Harrison Street at about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday. A release from the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday morning revealed more details on the crashes.
Man to be sentenced in shooting death of 16-year-old in South Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A 19-year-old charged in the shooting death of a 16-year-old last September in South Omaha will be sentenced in court Wednesday. Emerson Olivorio-Marroqui, of Ralston, pleaded “no contest” in August court to an amended charge of manslaughter. A charge of first-degree murder was dropped in the plea.
