New Prairie Village Ordinance Bans Short-Term Rentals Starting November 2025
Starting November 1, 2025, Prairie Village will ban short-term rentals. The City Council approved this decision on October 21, 2024. The new ordinance requires all rental properties to be leased for at least 30 days. This change means platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO cannot offer short-term stays in the city.
