KANSAS CITY, Mo. — On Wednesday, Basehor opened the first grocery store in town after more than a decade of not having one. Fareway Meat & Grocery is now open at 15790 State Ave. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’s closed on Sundays.
