Pittsburgh’s Liberty Tunnel closing to inbound traffic overnight for roof work
The inbound Liberty Tunnel in Pittsburgh will close for nine hours Thursday night as construction crews continue work on a multimillion-dollar roof replacement project. PennDOT announced the northbound tunnel on Route 3069 will close from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, weather permitting. The closure will allow crews from Mosites Construction Co. to work on the tunnel roof replacement.
