Truckee’s rescued Bald Eagle euthanized
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Truckee’s rescued bald eagle, found along a neighborhood trail in early March, has been humanely euthanized. The eagle had been under care since March 9, initially treated at Gold Country Wildlife Rescue. After several weeks of stabilization, the bird showed signs of improvement and was transferred to the Bird of Prey Health Group for more advanced rehabilitation by early April.
