Brush fire reported in west Reno near White Fir Street on Monday
Fire crews made quick work of a brush fire in Reno Monday evening, knocking down the flames within 30 minutes despite windy conditions. Emergency crews responded to the area around 6:30 p.m., with two units from the Reno Fire Department and one unit from Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue arriving on scene.
