ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is reporting the fewest number of homicides in the first two months of the year since 2009. So far in 2026, the department said there have been 14 homicides. Last year at this time, there were 15 homicides, and the previous year saw 31.
