WEST JORDAN — A man is dead after a house fire early Thursday. Crews were called to a fire at 8556 S. Susan Way just before 1 a.m. Thursday. "Our initial units arrived to find heavy, heavy smoke. We didn't see any flames, just heavy smoke coming from the home," West Jordan Fire Battalion Chief Travis Ball said.
