At about 5:15am on January 3, 2026 Seattle patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire near North 128th Street and Aurora Avenue North in north Seattle. A short time later, a victim arrived at Northwest Hospital (NWH) with a gunshot wound to her leg. Police responded to NWH to interview her.
