TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Some had family to turn to. Others had nowhere to go but their cars. Either way, what they thought would be a short evacuation turned into nearly two days away from home after a chemical leak at MC Tank Transport Inc. on Progress Avenue prompted evacuations in the surrounding area.

The Toledo Public Schools said it is allowing students to leave early as a precaution, even though area health advisories have been lifted in response to the ongoing chemical leak at MC Tank Transport.
