TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The University of Arizona confirms it will lay off43 staff members due to SNAP-Ed funding cuts. The university says that is about $6 million in annual funds. The funding was eliminated from the federal budget by Congress, meaning the program will end after September 30.
