NORFOLK, Va. — An Old Dominion University senior’s class project has turned into a nationwide product now landing in grocery store freezer aisles. Leah Hallwirth, a strategic communication major, helped inspire Perdue’s new “Six Seven Chicken Nuggets,” a frozen nugget product based on the viral “six-seven” internet trend. The nuggets are now being sold in 3,000 Walmart stores nationwide.
