Wilmington says they’ve spent over $1.1 million removing snow following winter storm
The City of Wilmington says the bills are adding up as they continue to remove snow following January's winter storm. According to the city, they've spent $153,750 in overtime hours, and paid at least $1,096,212 to Diamond Materials to try to eliminate the 8" of icy snow and sleet that has caked in much of Wilmington.
