‘I don’t see the point’: Cedar Rapids pulling trash cans from city parks

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Cedar Rapids is pulling trash cans from nearly all of its 100 public parks and now expects visitors to haul their own garbage out.

A new sign at Kenwood Park explains the policy, but the mess it’s supposed to prevent is already frustrating neighbors.
