CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Cedar Rapids Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding the owner of a dog found Friday on the city’s southwest side.
According to a social media post from the department, an officer found the female dog near the C Street bridge shortly after noon. Police say it is unclear whether the dog is lost, abandoned or ran away from home.
