MARION, Iowa — A crash blocked westbound traffic on Highway 100 near Marion for multiple hours, according to Marion police.
The closure impacts the stretch of Highway 100 between East Post Road and Iowa Highway 922. The Iowa DOT reported the road was blocked as of 1:11 p.m. Monday due to the crash.
Marion PD says the driver of a Subaru Forester is believed to have had a medical event that caused him to cross the median and crash into a Ford F350. Both vehicles had significant damage. The driver of the Forester was taken to the hospital but did not appear to have life-threatening injuries…
