IOWA CITY, Iowa — The 18th annual Taste of Iowa City will return Wednesday, Aug. 26, bringing more than 40 local restaurants, bars and coffee shops to downtown and the Northside for an evening of food, music and community.
The Iowa City Downtown District will host the event from 4 to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $1 each and are sold in strips of five. Most food samples cost two to four tickets.
The event, presented by Nicolet Bank, takes place during the first week of classes at the University of Iowa and offers students, residents and visitors an opportunity to sample a variety of local food while enjoying free live entertainment…
