CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The City of Cedar Rapids said crews are actively monitoring creeks, rivers, streets, and sewer conditions after heavy rains Saturday night and into Sunday fell across Eastern Iowa.
City officials said they’ve received reports of water in basements. They said many of these reports appear to involve rainwater or groundwater entering foundations rather than sewer backups.
