JOHNSON COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) — The body of a missing student has been pulled from the water at Lake Macbride State Park near Solon, authorities confirmed to KWWL.
According to a person from the Iowa DNR on scene, the body was found near the Coralville Reservoir spillway on Wednesday. The discovery came after search crews resumed their efforts in the morning following an overnight suspension.
The incident involved fifth-grade students from Borlaug Elementary School in Iowa City, who were on a “School of the Wild Field Trip.”…
