The demand for healthcare is increasing at a never-before-seen rate in all aspects of care. Be it in the rural or metropolitan areas, aging population or advancing complexity of how care is delivered, the constant in all scenarios is the need for people.
While AI appears to be finding it’s way into many sectors of our world, there is no replacement for exceptional people who are well trained. Iowa has the second-highest rate of new cancer diagnoses in the nation and is among a small number of states where cancer incidence is increasing. These trends underscore something our communities already know: We need a strong, well-trained healthcare workforce ready to care for Iowans now and in the years ahead…
