NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa (KCRG) – A North Liberty woman faces an assault charge after police say she pointed a handgun at a mother during a confrontation over a dog defecating on her lawn.
Crystal Harper is charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, an aggravated misdemeanor, in connection with the Oct. 12 incident.
Angel, who asked KCRG-TV9 not to use her last name, said she and her daughter were walking their family’s two dogs when one stopped to defecate on a lawn. She said they intended to clean it up, but the homeowner confronted her daughter…
