CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) – For the first time in four decades, the Linn County Jail will not house federal inmates for the U.S. Marshals Service. It comes after the Marshals Service and the Linn County Sheriff’s Office were unable to reach an agreement on the cost of housing the inmates.
