IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa City Police have announced that three people have been arrested and charged in relation to a shots fired incident that took place on Christmas. UIPD issued a Hawk Alert just after 2:00 a.m. on December 25th, 2023 for the 200-block of S Van Buren, advising people to take shelter and avoid the area as police investigated the scene.
