More than 200 dead fish found in Cedar Rapids following suspected pipe burst

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Officials with the Iowa DNR say they’ve identified an ongoing fish kill in Cedar Rapids. On Tuesday, Jan. 23, Cedar Rapids officials reported that approximately 450,000 gallons of chlorinated drinking water were released from an unoccupied building at 4425 Cedar Point Road NE, which spilled over into McLoud Run Trout Stream.
