The Grill Works in Marion has long been the place to go for grilling and BBQ enthusiasts. Fans of the shop may soon have even more room to shop!. According to the Marion Sun, The Grill Works, located at 763 8th Avenue, is in the process of acquiring the building next door at 785 8th Avenue. That building was the home of Connie’s Quilt Shop for 31 years. The owner, Connie Moyer, recently announced her retirement and the store recently closed. Grill Works co-owner Lisa Gilliatt told the Marion Sun that the Grill Works is in urgent need of more space and they have been in contact with the city regarding the property.
