Investigators say the subject of a no-contact order hosted a Zoom meeting with a University of Iowa Police officer from the protected party’s apartment. 21-year-old Mitchell Smith of East Washington Street is currently facing charges of Domestic Abuse Assault and Domestic Abuse Assault with Strangulation Causing Injury relating to a case from last November. A no-contact order has been issued in the case.
