Iowa City – The Iowa City airport is receiving federal funding to help install a new solar panel system. That federal funding was announced by Iowa City officials on Friday. The project calls for 300 solar panels to be installed by the main terminal building. Officials say it’ll help cut the airport’s utility costs in half.
