A downed power line led to a blackout in Shueyville Friday afternoon. The Jefferson Monroe Fire Department posted on is Facebook page just after 12:15 p.m. that many Shueyville residents were without power due to a downed power line near the intersection of Curtis Bridge Road and Sandy Beach Road, southeast of town. The line was damaged by a falling tree.
