An Iowa City man is accused of making threats while wielding a gun. 35-year-old Otis Hicks was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 8:45 Friday morning. Iowa City Police say Hicks pointed a gun at another person at his Clearwater Court residence just before 11:15 on the night of January 10th. Three children were reportedly present during the incident. The other person fled, but Hicks allegedly texted them further threats involving the firearm.
