A Cedar Rapids man was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after an incident at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics last month. Officers responded to the facility the night of January 30th on reports of an assault involving a patient and a nurse. The nurse reportedly told them that 59-year-old Scott Lebeda of L Street SW was agitated with hospital staff and wanted to leave the unit immediately. The nurse entered the room, and an attempt was made to de-escalate the situation.
