Kirk Ferentz is making an internal promotion to fill a vacancy on his offensive coaching staff. Ferentz announced Wednesday that veteran assistant Jon Budmayr will be the Hawkeyes’ wide receivers coach for 2024. Budmayr joined the Iowa staff in 2022 as an offensive analyst. He was promoted to senior special assistant to the head coach ahead of the 2023 season.
