CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) -We enjoyed a lovely morning across Eastern Iowa with some sunshine and temperatures in the 30s. Clouds will increase this afternoon ahead of a low-pressure system that will move into the area overnight. This low-pressure system will bring in a chance for rain and snow showers to the area tonight. A trace to 1 inch of snow is expected tonight along and north of Highway 20, with rain expected south of Highway 20. A few lingering showers are expected in our eastern counties on Thursday morning, but most of the precipitation should be out of the area by sunrise. Most of Thursday will be sunny with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.
