Cedar Rapids – In eastern Iowa, a new roundabout — and maintenance garage — is now open for service. City leaders in Cedar Rapids held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday afternoon to mark the completion of the Ellis Boulevard Northwest Extension project. That ribbon cutting also included an open house of the newly built Transit Maintenance Garage near the Ellis Boulevard Northwest and E Avenue roundabout.
