IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa City Mayor Bruce Teague was the lone vote against rezoning property – best known as the Pagliai’s Pizza building – as a local historic landmark. “There are some things that I think are high risk,” Teague said at the May 7, 2024, City Council meeting. “And the city may be put in a position to be sued, so I don’t want to do that.”
