University of Iowa Police are investigating a reported robbery of a campus food truck. According to a UIPD news release, the robbery occurred at approximately 9:45 Monday night on the 300 block of North Capitol Street outside Burge, Stanley and Currier residence halls. The alleged victim reported she was working in her food truck when a man opened the door and told her to give him her water. The woman then told the man to get out of the truck, and that she had pepper spray. The suspect then said he had a gun, grabbed the victim’s plastic water bottle, and fled the scene. No weapons were displayed.
