(Cedar Rapids, IA) — A Cedar Rapids barbeque restaurant is sending a crew to provide free food to victims of flooding in northwest Iowa. This will be Willie Ray’s Q Shack’s 9th trip to provide food to victims of natural disasters. The first was during the aftermath of the 2020 derecho that caused widespread damage to Cedar Rapids. Since then, Willie Ray’s has traveled to Louisiana, Texas, and more to feed those recovering from natural disasters.
