LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) – Even though there was a little bit of rain throughout the afternoon, it wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits of festivalgoers in Eastern Iowa. With Independence Day celebrations all across the state, many Iowans are using these festivals as an opportunity to reflect on what makes the holiday special for them.
