An eggplant grown in Iowa has set a new world record. The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship says Dave Bennett from Davis County grew an eggplant weighing 8.33 pounds. It also measured at 28 inches around and 32 inches from stem to bottom, making it the world’s biggest eggplant.
