Camp Courageous in Monticello will be hosting their annual Pineapple Gala this Friday night. Camp Director Charlie Becker says it’s an event that got its start 45 years ago. The event is scheduled to kick off at 6 pm Friday at the DoubleTree convention center in downtown Cedar Rapids. The evening includes a luau dinner, a wide array of silent and live auction items, a program showcasing Camp Courageous and the grand prize drawing for a trip for two to Hawaii.
