(Cedar Rapids, IA) — A Cedar Rapids man is pleading guilty of attempted murder. 34 year-old Anthony Depolis is accused of stabbing his wife multiple times and entered a guilty plea Friday. He was arrested in 2020 and was found incompetent to stand trial in 2021 due to mental illness until having his competency restored in 2022. Depolis says he was having an out of body experience when he stabbed his wife and admitted to using illegal drugs at the time of the stabbing.
