UNI Nursing program receives grant to increase maternal health & critical care education

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Iowa (UNI) received a grant on Tuesday to help grow its new nursing program. The $275,000 grant was given by the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust. Nancy Kertz, head of the Department of Nursing and Public Health, says it will help them enhance the school’smaternal health & critical care education by offering realisticsimulations of obstetrics and intensive care.
