Caitlin Clark Issued Three-Word Demand to Iowa After Nike Surprise

Christmas came four months early for the Iowa women’s basketball team. On Thursday, the squad shared some photos and a video of a massive surprise from Nike, their sportswear sponsor, that involved a whole lot of new merch.

The post immediately went viral, garnering over 15,000 likes over the span of 12 hours (as of writing). More than a few fans jumped on the comments section, too, as the supporters shared in the joyous celebrations of the players over literal boxes of exclusive merch.

So much so that even Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark could not help but join in on the fun. Clark, who is widely regarded as the greatest player to ever don a Hawkeyes jersey, issued a three-word demand after seeing what Nike had gifted her former teammates.

“Send me merch 💯” Clark wrote.

The Hawkeyes also shared a video of the surprise, which had the girls extremely excited.

For her part, Clark, who holds multiple all-time Iowa records following her iconic four-year stint with the program, doesn’t really need any new Nike merch. After all, she’s getting a whole lot more after signing a $28 million deal with the sportswear giant earlier this year.
