HIAWATHA, Iowa (IOWA’S NEWS NOW) – A man has been charged following the death of a Hiawatha man in a hit-and-run incident in April. Shawn Steele was arrested Thursday for operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in the death of 52-year-old Tommy Thomas.
