On Wednesday, an anonymous Snapchat user sent a series of violent threats to a school in the Iowa City Community School District that has not been identified. In an email sent to the families and staff of the district, Superintendent Matt Degner stated that law enforcement had decided that the threats were not credible and looked to have come from outside the state.
