CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Firefighters were called to a fire at a single-family home in the 3600 block of Oakland Rd. near Hy-Vee Friday evening. At least three Cedar Rapids Fire Department trucks could be seen blocking the roadway just before 5 p.m. while police diverted traffic from the area.
