LINN COUNTY, Iowa – Sept. 28, 2024 is National Hunting and Fishing Day, which takes place on the fourth Saturday of every September. The holiday is a way for people to recognize and celebrate sportsmen and women for their contribution’s to the conservation of our nation’s sporting heritage and the preservation of wildlife.
